What Other Participants are saying

“If you would like to continue your education as a spiritual director, focusing on the contemplative/evocative way, this is the place for you. Within a small community, you will access more than just information and have generous space for sharing with each other. You will see spiritual direction and supervision in action and will experience the process visually and audibly in ways that will truly impact your spiritual direction practice.”
-A First Year Participant

“It seemed that I was continuing in my (Spiritual Direction) practicum with more understanding about spiritual direction and improving my skills in practice. It takes time to understand and improve skills for spiritual direction. This small community provided support and encouragement for individuals to grow in a sacred space.”
-A Third Year Participant

“This program is very sensitive to the formation of the director. It is a comprehensive way of leading directors into a deeper sense of themselves and of those to whom they are giving spiritual direction. A combination of prayerful practices, direct instruction, practical examples, experiential sessions and conversation, the instructors use a variety of methods to give a wholistic view and living example of spiritual direction. It is an inviting process which explores both the inner working of the director and directee.”

Our approach is Contemplative Evocative, and some of the things we explore together the first year are: skills, hospitality, in-depth listening, emotions, body awareness, integration and processing.
